What is BMO?
BMO is a community-driven middleman platform for trading digital items safely. We connect buyers and sellers with verified middlemen who facilitate every trade, so both sides can transact with confidence.
How do middlemen work?
When a trade is initiated, a verified middleman is assigned to oversee the exchange. The middleman holds items or funds in escrow until both parties confirm the delivery. This prevents scams and ensures a fair outcome for everyone involved.
How does the reputation system work?
After every completed trade, both the buyer and seller can leave ratings and reviews. These build up a public reputation score that other users can see before agreeing to trade. Higher reputation means a more trustworthy trader.
Is BMO free to use?
Creating an account, browsing the marketplace, and using tools like ban checking and IGN lookup are completely free. Middleman services may involve a small fee to compensate the middleman for their time and trust.
How do I become a middleman?
Middlemen are selected from experienced, trusted members of the community. You need a strong reputation score, a history of successful trades, and you must pass our vetting process. Applications open periodically — keep an eye on announcements.
What games are supported?
BMO supports digital item trading across a wide range of games and platforms. New games are added regularly based on community demand. Check the marketplace to see currently active categories and tags.
How do I report a scammer?
If you suspect someone is scamming, click the "Report" button on their profile or listing. You can also open a support ticket with evidence (screenshots, chat logs). Our moderation team reviews all reports and takes action quickly.
What is BMOCash?
BMOCash is our in-platform wallet currency. You can deposit funds into your BMOCash wallet and use it to send payments to other users, purchase ad slots, or upgrade your rank. It makes transactions faster since you don't need to go through external payment every time.
What are the different ranks?
BMO offers Free, Plus, Pro, and Elite tiers. Free accounts can list up to 5 items. Paid tiers unlock more listing slots, priority support, listing analytics, and cosmetic perks like profile frames. Check the pricing page for full details.
How does the ban check tool work?
The ban check tool lets you search any username to see if they have been flagged or banned on BMO. This helps you verify a trader's history before committing to a deal. It's free and available to all users.
Can I trade without a middleman?
Yes, middleman services are optional. However, we strongly recommend using a middleman for high-value trades. Trading without a middleman means both parties take on the risk themselves, and disputes are harder to resolve.
How do I contact support?
You can open a support ticket from your dashboard under "Support Tickets" or use the Help page. Our team typically responds within 24 hours. For urgent issues like active scam attempts, mark your ticket as a scam report for priority handling.
Is my personal information safe?
Yes. BMO uses industry-standard encryption and secure authentication powered by Supabase. We support two-factor authentication (2FA) for extra security. We never share your personal data with other users or third parties.
Can I delete my account?
Yes. Go to Settings > Security and scroll to the Danger Zone section. You'll need to verify your identity with your password or 2FA code. Account deletion is permanent — your profile will be anonymized and all active listings will be cancelled.
